From the bidding stage to project completion, the Blake Surface Solutions team will provide on-going management services to insure that project is completed on time, within budget, and according to brand standards and contract documents.

  • COMPLETE AND THOROUGH ESTIMATE
    Our estimate department will provide a clear, thorough, and brand-sensitive estimate. Our estimates include material and installation, unlike those of our competitors. We also provide options for alternates.
  • SUBMITTALS
    Once a contract is received, we provide detailed submittals. Our submittals are not sketches, but detailed, scaled drawings in CAD of all material we provide.
  • ADHERE TO BRAND STANDARDS
    With many years of experience and a robust list of completed projects, our team is knowledgeable about the brand standards and specifications required by the many hotel flags. We make sure that our products are in keeping with the standards to facilitate inspection and approval.
  • COORDINATE WITH OTHER TRADES
    Over the years, our team has built relationships with many other trades in the construction industry. We communicate and exchange information so that our tops coordinate with plumbing and millwork.
  • FIELD MEASURE
    Blake Surface Solutions sends out field crews to field measure every job so that we can provide a quality installation and a custom fit.
  • ORDER MATERIAL
    We make sure that we order your material in a timely fashion so that it will arrive on site immediately before installation is required. We also provide overage in case of breakage or other unpredicted site conditions.
  • DISTRIBUTE PRODUCTION DRAWINGS
    Once the order is confirmed, we distribute a "production set" of drawings to the General Contractor, the installer, and the superintendent at the site to assure the most accurate information is available to all.
  • COORDINATE DELIVERY
    Our logistics coordinator will work closely with the superintendent and the installation crews to make sure that delivery occurs at the optimal time. Material will not arrive weeks in advance and require on site storage, but instead arrive when needed. The logistics coordinator will work with shipping and trucking companies so that the General Contractor will not have to.
  • RECEIVE & UNLOAD
    Once a delivery date is set, our crews will travel to the site and unload the material. They will inspect the material, check inventory, and unload all containers.
  • FRAMING & PREP WORK
    Before material is installed, our crews will measure each opening or space and prepare the area for material installation. Our installers will build the needed framing and cut material to custom fit each unit.
  • INSTALLATION
    Our crews do quality installation. Each piece is leveled, cut to fit, caulked, and completed in a professional manner.
  • SUPERVISION & COMMUNICATION
    Throughout the entire process, representatives from our company will visit the site to supervise and check on the installation. Our project managers will act as liaisons between the installation crew, the General Contractor and the superintendent, making sure that schedules are met and punchlists are addressed.
